The Heartland Telehealth Resource Center (HTRC) was a federally funded Telehealth Resource Center serving Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma through August 2026. During its time as a regional resource center, HTRC supported the adoption and expansion of telehealth to better serve rural and medically underserved communities. HTRC provided resources, guidance, and technical assistance to help organizations build sustainable telehealth programs and expand access to services in their communities.

Established in 2006, the Heartland Telehealth Resource Center (HTRC) served as a federally designated Telehealth Resource Center for Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma through August 2026. As part of the national Telehealth Resource Center network, HTRC was supported through the Telehealth Resource Center Grant Program, administered by the Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (OAT) within the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). During its time as a federally funded regional resource center, HTRC worked with established telehealth organizations and leveraged the expertise of outreach and education specialists to provide telehealth resources, education, and technical assistance to communities throughout the region.
